The 'Consortium for the Protection and Enhancement of Blueberries and Small Fruits' with the patronage
of the 'Municipality of Moncrivello' presents the project:
“ THE PATHS OF HONEY AND SMALL FRUIT  "

WHAT THE PROJECT REPROPOSES
The future, it now seems clear, will be increasingly oriented towards responsible behavior
towards the environment and its enhancement.
With this in mind, we intend to recover wooded and uncultivated land by planting fruit
reds, herbs and honey to create an ideal environment for pollinating insects.
At the same time we will start with the cleaning and the establishment of naturalistic and cultural paths
in the woods of the hills and in the surrounding land of Moncrivello.
WHAT WE WILL DO
For the start of the project, 4 paths will be cleaned and arranged, with the promise of fixing them
at least one new every year.
Over one hundred signs will be purchased along the route to indicate difficulties, duration, plants
melliferae, curiosities and legends related to the places crossed. Particular attention will also be
given to buildings of interest to enhance the great cultural heritage of Moncrivello.
The signs will also indicate the farms, their history and their products.
Honey plants will be planted in the common areas of the town with the aim of
raise everyone's awareness of the project and communicate it to potential users.
WHAT ARE THE GOALS
Create a tourist and general interest flow for the project, bringing attention to a
an increasing number of people the food and wine excellences of Moncrivello that
will participate in the project. But more generally the goal is to enhance the territory in a way
to reap all benefits.
WHAT WE ALL CAN DO
Talk about the project to increase knowledge.
Hoping the success of the initiative, we would like to extend it to other areas as well.
If you have uncultivated or wooded land and you like the project, fill in the
"Expression of interest" for a possible collaboration in 2022.
Be responsible for the environment.
Planting plants useful for the project: if you are curious to know the honey yields of the
plants and guide your choices in this regard to beautify your home or to make more
tasty your cuisine there is a list available upon request.
Sign the card to support the promotion and implementation activities of the
project. Communicate any trivia, anecdotes and legends that you are aware of for
contribute to the contents of the signs.
